Solar Gaines was founded to help businesses and communities transition to clean energy with confidence and less complexity. Early on, we saw the challenges developers faced: fragmented teams, weak accountability, and costly delays. We built our business to solve them, integrating construction management with solar expertise. Our Story
Solar Gaines was founded by longtime collaborators Tom Gaines and Hans Wittich. After building careers in construction and finance, respectively, they teamed up to establish a company grounded in technical expertise, disciplined execution, and long-term partnership—an approach that continues to define our work.
As the company grew, so did our capabilities. Year after year, we expanded our technical depth and delivery capacity to support increasingly complex renewable energy investments. We invested early in systems, people, and processes that allow us to remain agile in a rapidly evolving industry while maintaining consistent execution standards. The result is predictable project performance and durable client outcomes.
